Telepsychiatry

You will be asked to fill a consultation request form, and expect a brief phone call to discuss options and scheduling.

Telepsychiatry refers to the delivery of assessment and treatment services through videoconferencing.

Dr. Büyükaşık is able to offer remote services online via ZOOM™ if clinically appropriate, in the states of his licensure (NY, NJ, MI, D.C.). You have to have a working connection and audio-video equipment (e.g. a laptop with a webcam).

Some assessment procedures, such as the assessment of young children or certain psychiatric conditions may require in-person care. A combination of in-person and telepsychiatric care may also be an option in certain cases.

Please note, that medications that are controlled substances can not be prescribed for patients in New Jersey or Connecticut under telepsychiatric care.
